Low-cost chemical indicator strips change color when exposed to moisture or abnormal conditions and are strategically positioned within these routing pathways. A compact camera and lighting system continuously monitors the strips and automatically detects color changes, while keeping electronic components safely isolated from any bodily fluids. This design enables reliable early alerts while remaining affordable, reusable, and easy to use.
Mobile App & Alert System
The mobile app extends the system by transforming sensor data into clear, actionable alerts. When a significant change is detected, the app notifies the user in real time, allowing them to respond before a minor issue becomes a serious problem. The app can also display simple trends over time and enable caregiver notifications, supporting greater independence and peace of mind. This optional digital layer turns passive monitoring into proactive care while keeping the overall system simple and user-centered.
